Wisetek opens latest US Facility in Winchester, Virginia
Wisetek, a global leader in advanced IT asset disposal, data destruction, technology reuse and manufacturing services, has announced the opening of its fourth location in the United States in just over a year, with a new facility in Winchester, Virginia. In response to market demand and opportunity, the company continues to grow its capabilities and workforce in the United States, in addition to its existing presence in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Over the past 12 months Wisetek has expanded from a single US facility, to a footprint that now covers Austin, Texas; Milford, Massachusetts; Sacramento, California; and Washington, D.C. With the addition of the company’s newest facility in Virginia, Wisetek expects to employ a total staff in the United States of 200 by the end of 2019.
Currently Wisetek has the largest US fleet of mobile data destruction vehicles across the country and now provides customers with a complete nationwide service for on-site data destruction, IT removal, reuse and recycling services.
Globally, 14.5 million items have been recorded and processed through Wisetek facilities to date, with over $1 billion in components recovered for both client and internal use. Approximately over ten million disk drives alone have been certified as erased or destroyed.
